Dadeng Town Taiwan Duty Free Park is located at No. 98 Huandeng North Road, Dadeng Street, Xiang'an District. It is the first duty-free market for Taiwan in China and a themed scenic area mainly featuring shopping for Taiwanese specialty products and Taiwanese specialty tourism. It was approved as a national 3A level tourist attraction in 2014.
In terms of tax exemption policies towards Taiwan, the Taiwan Duty Free Park in Dadeng Town exempts six major categories of goods originating from Taiwan, including grain and oil food, local livestock and poultry, textiles and clothing, handicrafts, light industrial products, and pharmaceuticals, from import tariffs and value-added tax, and exempts some goods from consumption tax. In terms of shopping for specialty Taiwanese goods, the duty-free park covers over 10000 types of Taiwanese snacks, seasonings, daily necessities, cigarettes, alcohol, tea, small handicrafts, and other daily necessities, making it a "grand garden" of Taiwanese goods that visitors can't stop watching.
In terms of Taiwanese culture, Duty Free Park invited renowned Taiwanese designer and 101 Building designer Li Zuyuan to design the building. The architectural style incorporates elements of Minnan residential courtyards, Minnan Tulou, arcade buildings, Taiwanese street houses, and stages, with the square shape of ancient Minnan and Taiwanese architecture symbolizing "dialogue between the square and the square, and peace between the two sides".
