Hangzhou - Yuhang

Lu Ming, a Frenchman, has been in China for more than 30 years. After living in different cities in China, he met his true love and settled in Hangzhou in 2016, where he applied and obtained a Chinese green card a few years later. In his own words, if a person has a past life, then he was a Chinese in his previous life.

Since his first visit to China in 1991, Lao Lu has personally experienced 30 years of the most rapid economic and social development in China. After various professional experiences, he decided to become a full-time vlogger and share his stories in China, hoping that he could be a bridge between Chinese and French cultures and let more people understand China and France. His familiarity with the two countries enable him to see both cultures from a different perspective.

He has been inspired by Hangzhou, a "new first-tier city" and a hub of digital technology in China. Hangzhou is a unique place, and one of its most impressive aspects is the vitality of the private economy, which is "far ahead" many other countries and cities. After becoming a new Hangzhou citizen, Lao Lu was moved by Hangzhou's openness, inclusivity, and livability, and how the city was striving to continuously improve in so many aspects. "You can clearly feel from all sides that the people of Hangzhou are trying to get things right..."
As someone who has chosen Hangzhou, he also hopes that people who come to the city to settle down and look for a better future will take the time to enjoy the charm of its city life even if they have a busy schedule.
