Suzhou

The blockbuster Zootopia 2 is now in theaters! Who can resist these adorable furry creatures? Come to Suzhou for an even more heartwarming experience on-site than the movie!

Suzhou Shangfangshan Forest Zoo

Suzhou Shangfangshan Forest Zoo, located at the southern foothills of Shangfang Mountain, spans approximately 67 hectares. The zoo features six parts: the Predator Zone, Herbivore Zone, Amphibian Zone, Avian Zone, Primate Zone, and Ecological Habitat Pavilion. It houses over 100 rare species and more than 1,000 rare animals.

In the film, the tiger from Gazelle's dance troupe is undoubtedly the star of the show. Meanwhile, in Shangfangshan Forest Zoo, you'll find the Tiger Fun Bookstore, China's first creative bookstore themed around South China tigers. The bookstore features multiple areas, including a reading area, a cultural and creative product area, a leisure space, and the highlight: an observation zone seamlessly connected to the tiger enclosure via a floor-to-ceiling glass wall, allowing visitors to admire tigers while immersed in books.

This year, the zoo has also welcomed adorable new friends: the charming South American tapirs. With their round, chubby bodies paired with droopy, oversized ears and curious little eyes, every move radiates a delightfully endearing charm.

Suzhou Taihu Lake National Wetland Park

In September this year, the giant panda siblings Meng Xun and Ao Bao arrived at the park. The newly unveiled Panda Tribe Zone integrates diverse attractions, including the Suzhou Taihu Giant Panda Science Hall, Panda Adventure Park, Rolling Water Village, and Panda Square. They combine panda-themed science education tours with family-friendly activities and culinary delights, maximizing both the fun and practical appeal of the panda IP.

Moreover, the park boasts the Deer Island Manor, a fairytale-like forest oxygen bar, where visitors can intimately interact with deer herds. Over twenty deer roam freely, some grazing leisurely on the grass, others darting along woodland paths. Each one is impeccably friendly.

The wetland park truly lives up to its reputation as a "Birdwatcher's Paradise." On the water, Eurasian coots and mallards glide and play, while light-vented bulbuls, blackbirds, and crested mynas flit through the trees, their songs echoing through the woods. Lucky visitors might even spot rare species like mandarin ducks or hoopoes. At dawn or dusk, the spectacle of flocks flying together creates a visual feast.

Suzhou Amusement Land Forest World

At the Elf Tribe zone of Suzhou Amusement Land Forest World, the newly opened Pet Farm offers close encounters with adorable animals like sika deer, mini pigs, alpacas, and raccoons. Meanwhile, the Frozen Tundra Kingdom allows visitors to interact with penguins and enjoy indoor ice adventures, including ice slides, carousel rides on ice, and fun icy games.

Dayang Mountain National Forest Park Botanical Garden

In the Botanical Garden, countless fluffy residents thrive. Rabbits dart nimbly through the grass, with their long ears twitching at the slightest sound. They are as alert and endearing as Officer Judy Hopps in the movie.

The stocky and endearing groundhogs are like ground crew members in the movie. Their round, chubby bodies and earnest expressions exude a sense of reliability and adorable charm.

With their trendy hairstyles, alpacas may seem stylishly harmless. But if provoked, they might just deliver a response straight out of a movie scene: a spit protest!

Xishan Island Happy Farm

Xishan Island Happy Farm is an immersive wonderland where fairy tales come to life. With six themed zones and countless Instagram-worthy spots, its large-scale animal-themed play area delivers endless surprises.

In Pet Utopia, countless fluffy animals await. You can hand-feed gentle alpacas, zebras, and deer, cuddle with soft bunnies, or take a leisurely stroll on pony-back. Let all your worries melt away in this haven of innocence and joy.

White Horse Stream Dragon Pond Scenic Area

At White Horse Stream's Raccoon Restaurant, a group of "little foodies" await with their round, gleaming eyes fixed on you. They are ready to share joy through snuggles with you.

The farm's ponies are unbelievably gentle. Under professional guidance, children become knights, riding on horseback with the wind in their hair.

Nearby, calves and lambs stroll leisurely. Hand them a carrot, and the sight of their munching gives you a healing vibe.
