Airlines Increase International Flights from Chengdu

Recently, airlines have increased their capacity at Chengdu International Aviation Hub and increased international flights from Chengdu to further facilitate efficient travel for passengers.


January 26, 2026

Sichuan Airlines has added new direct flights from Chengdu Tianfu International Airport to Moscow, Russia. The increase in flights has brought the maximum number of daily direct flights to two.


February 1, 2026

Qingdao Airlines will resume its charter flight service from Chengdu Tianfu International Airport to Bohol Island, the Philippines for tourists.


February 4, 2026
Qingdao Airlines will resume its seasonal charter flight service from Chengdu Tianfu International Airport to Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia.


From February 3 to March 12, 2026

China Eastern Airlines will increase the frequency of its direct round-trip flights between Chengdu Tianfu International Airport and Bangkok, Thailand to three flights per week.


From February 13 to March 11, 2026

China Eastern Airlines will introduce new direct round-trip flights between Chengdu Tianfu International Airport and Phuket, Thailand, operating four flights per week.


From February 15 to March 1, 2026

Spring Airlines will add more direct flights from Chengdu Tianfu International Airport to Bangkok, Thailand, bringing its maximum frequency to two direct flights per day.


From February 16 to February 23, 2026
Spring Airlines will temporarily change its direct flight service from Chengdu Tianfu International Airport to Phuket, Thailand to daily service.


March 26, 2026

Air China will launch a new direct air route from Chengdu Tianfu International Airport to Brussels, Belgium. Once operational, the route will cut the travel time between Chengdu and Brussels to over 10 hours.
