Longest-running Spring Festival flower fair to run 7 days this year

The Aiguo Road Flower Fair in Luohu District, Shenzhen's longest-running Spring Festival flower fair, will last seven days this year.

The fair will run from 10 a.m. on Feb. 10 to midnight Feb. 16, Chinese New Year's Eve.

For many longtime Shenzhen residents, the Aiguo Road Flower Fair is a repository of cherished memories. Having served as the fixed venue for Shenzhen's Spring Festival flower fair since 1998, it bid farewell to Shenzheners in 2016 when the city began hosting Spring Festival flower fairs at multiple locations.

In 2023, the fair made a comeback, bring the familiar festive atmosphere of the Chinese New Year back to the area.
