Fujian launches first weekly direct shipping service to South America's eastern coast

The ZFS shipping service officially launched last week when the Zim Wilmington cargo vessel departed from Xiamen International Container Terminals. The new service connects Xiamen directly with major ports along South America's east coast. The voyage from Xiamen to Rio Grande, Brazil, takes 27 days, while the trip to Santos takes 39 days, seven to 20 days faster than traditional transshipment services.
