The 2025 Beijing Hot & Spicy Fest kicks off today and will run until June 22 at the south square of Beijing Fortune Financial Center (FFC), featuring global spicy delicacies for you to taste!
Over 100 spicy cuisines from more than 40 countries will take center stage, including authentic spicy Buffalo chicken wings, specialty bites from Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan provinces of China, and traditional Spanish charcoal-grilled peppers. Don't worry if you cannot handle the spicy flavors as non-spicy dishes and soothing iced drinks are also available.
The most distinctive sub-event on site is the competition for the coveted title of
"Chili Food Champion of the Year". Contestants from different countries will compete together for a spicy food-eating challenge. During this sub-event, complimentary chili samples will be distributed to other visitors, allowing those who dare to chew chili to demonstrate their prowess.
The fest also features a
non-stop 12-hour DJ extravaganza! "Pancakelee + Mario Yu" (a DJ duo), Fay (a fiery female DJ), and The Riot Club (a punk-pop band) will make you dive headfirst into the summer's hottest beat!
