Talent Training | Domestic and International Innovators and Entrepreneurs Gather at the Offshore Base to Discuss New Opportunities for E-commerce Development

To promote international exchange and cooperation within the province and to encourage more traditional foreign trade companies to enter the "Internet Plus" scenario, a cross-border e-commerce ecosystem for win-win cooperation has been constructed. On March 8, 2024, the training and exchange meeting on new opportunities in cross-border e-commerce, hosted by the Hebei Provincial Department of Science and Technology (Provincial Bureau of Foreign Experts) and the Science and Technology Bureau of Shijiazhuang High-tech Industrial Development Zone, and organized by the Hebei (Shijiazhuang) Offshore Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base for Overseas Professionals, was successfully held, with more than 50 domestic and international innovators and entrepreneurs participating both online and offline.

At the meeting, Senior Project Manager Zhang Qian of the Offshore Base introduced the operation model and development status of the Offshore Base. The Offshore Base carries out project introduction, cooperative research and development, technology transfer and transformation, international exchange and cooperation, and inspection and mutual visits based on the main industries of Shijiazhuang High-tech Zone, helping Shijiazhuang to create new drivers for economic development.
Amazon Global Selling North China Expansion Manager Ms. Li Nan conducted a training session on the theme of cross-border e-commerce, covering topics such as global business opportunities and domestic policies. The atmosphere at the event was lively, with representatives from various companies actively engaging and sharing the difficulties and challenges they face in the process of cross-border e-commerce. Ms. Li shared her knowledge generously and answered questions patiently.
Policy research staff at the Offshore Base introduced a compilation of talent introduction policies from the provincial, city, and district levels, mainly interpreting policies such as the Shijiazhuang Talent Green Card, flexible talent introduction, and talent apartments for the attendees.

The Hebei (Shijiazhuang) Offshore Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base for Overseas Professionals will continue to develop a series of training and practical course content tailored to the actual needs of overseas returnees. This will include the popularization of overseas talent policies at the provincial, city, and district levels, as well as services related to intellectual property, tax law, international commercial arbitration, international technology transfer, achievement implementation, and brand incubation. Guided by the market, the Offshore Base aims to provide higher quality services for the employment and entrepreneurship of returned overseas talents.
