High-speed railway debuts pet shipping services via Xiamen

China's railway authority last week expanded its high-speed rail pet shipping pilot program starting to the Fuzhou Railway Station and the Xiamen North Railway Station. Passengers at participating stations can board the G412 train, which services destinations such as Hangzhou and Shanghai.
Passengers must book the service in advance. Eligible pets include healthy domesticated cats and dogs that weigh up to 15 kilograms and that have a shoulder height less than 40 centimeters.
