25 international students became “tea farmers” in Hangzhou's lush tea fields

Spring tea adventure begins! 25 international students became “tea farmers” in Hangzhou’s lush tea fields, hand-picking pre-Qingming buds (harvested in early April before the Qingming Festival) with bamboo baskets. They witnessed ancient roasting techniques, sipped Longjing tea and experienced its sweet aftertaste, and unlocked the secrets of China’s poetic tea culture. Tea-scented chicken, Longjing shrimp… this cross-cultural tea feast brewed a newfound love for Chinese spring among global youth!
