Signing Ceremony for Comprehensive Trusteeship of Xinqiao Health Center by Xinqiao Town and Jiangyin People's Hospital

On April 22, 2026, the signing ceremony for the comprehensive trusteeship of Xinqiao Health Center by the People's Government of Xinqiao Town and Jiangyin People's Hospital was successfully held. Jin Danjing, Vice Mayor of Jiangyin Municipal People's Government, attended the event.

This collaboration is based on the construction of the Xinqiao Medical and Elderly Care Integrated Service Center. The project covers approximately 40 mu (about 2.67 hectares), with a total construction area of around 54,500 square meters. It plans to include over 80 hospital beds and more than 270 elderly care beds, with construction expected to begin in the second half of 2026. The former Xinqiao Health Center will be fully upgraded to become the Xinqiao Branch of Jiangyin People's Hospital, operating under integrated management and standardized services. The focus will be on strengthening routine diagnosis and treatment as well as emergency capabilities, striving to establish three or more municipal-level specialized departments and set up a 120 emergency station. At the same time, the "Xinqiao Nursing Home" and a rehabilitation center will be established, with a dedicated area for sports rehabilitation, providing a full-chain "medical care + rehabilitation + nursing + elderly care" service for the disabled, semi-disabled elderly, those with chronic diseases, and sports populations. The ultimate goal is to build the Xinqiao Branch into a regional medical and elderly care center serving the town and radiating to the surrounding area of Chengdongnan (Southeastern Jiangyin), effectively serving the local and neighboring residents.

Vice Mayor Jin Danjing of Jiangyin Municipal People's Government and Wang Wenping, Secretary of the Party Committee of Xinqiao Town, jointly unveiled the plaque for the "Xinqiao Branch of Jiangyin People's Hospital."

Deng Guoping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Mayor of Xinqiao Town; Gao Heng, President of Jiangyin People's Hospital; and Gu Minhua, Deputy Director of Jiangyin Municipal Health Commission, jointly signed the "Comprehensive Trusteeship Cooperation Agreement between the People's Government of Xinqiao Town and Jiangyin People's Hospital."

The Jiangyin People's Hospital Group will gradually promote and improve the emergency and first-aid system, chronic disease management, and diagnosis and treatment system for common and frequently occurring diseases at the Xinqiao Branch. It will establish the Chengdongnan Sub-center for Emergency and First Aid, creating a 10-minute emergency response circle in Jiangyin to enhance regional emergency response capacity and transfer efficiency. The goal is to precisely meet the needs of residents in Xinqiao and surrounding areas, striving to cultivate and establish three or more municipal-level key specialized departments, and to simultaneously improve diagnostic and treatment capabilities, equipment configuration, and management capacity. The collaboration will further deepen the integration of medical and elderly care services, building a regional medical and elderly care center in the Chengdongnan area, with a focus on serving key populations such as the elderly and children, and providing full-chain health services including prevention, diagnosis and treatment, rehabilitation, and nursing.
