Recommended Attractions & Itinerary

Cycling on Dongziguan Greenway: Ride along the greenway and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Fuchun River along the way. You can rent a bicycle at the entrance of Dongziguan Village or bring your own. The Greenway is nearly 100 kilometers long in total, but the cycling/walking distance is totally up to you.  After cycling, return to the village. There is a public parking lot nearby, and free parking is also available in the village.

Dongziguan Village: Have a visit around the ancient village and admire the historical buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is also the permanent venue of the "Jiang xian da hui"(Fresh River food Festival). July 1st has just witnessed the beginning of the Fuchun River fishing season, during which you can enjoy fresh river food from the Fuchun River. Take a ferry from Wangjiabu Port near the village to Tongzhou Island in the middle of the river (ferry ticket costs 3 yuan), where the woods relax you with their shade and you will find it’s a photo worthy place. After crossing the bridge on the island, you will reach the other side of the river and visit the rapeseed fields.

Yong'an Mountain Paragliding Base: It is 17 kilometers by car from Dongziguan Village. Enjoy high-altitude paragliding and the magnificent scenery of the Huyuanxi River basin. The cost is 680 yuan per person. You may also watch the sunset and starry sky on the top of the mountain.
Accommodation: After the paragliding experience, descend the mountain to the homestays near Longlinba(Longlin/Dragon Scale Dam), which is 15 kilometers away. The prices of homestays are around 200-400 yuan, and you can also choose nearby campsites for camping.

Longlinba(Longlin/Dragon Scale Dam): The dam is shaped like dragon scales and is a new  internet-famous attraction where you can paddle in the water, take photos, camp, have picnics, and enjoy a cool, water-friendly lifestyle.  The scenery is beautiful, and it is recommended to use a drone. Parking is free here.

Huyuanxi River Rafting: It is 6 kilometers away from Dragon Scale Dam, offering thrilling rafting experience. The total length is 3 kilometers with a total drop of 60 meters, including the largest single drop of 6.5 meters. A boat could carry 4-6 people, suitable for family experience.The ticket price is 158 yuan for adults and 98 yuan for children (children under 1.2 meters are not allowed to raft). There are 6 rapids areas in the whole journey, and 3 gentle areas in the middle where you can have a happy water fight. Please note that entry is prohibited after 4 pm.
Yaokou Village Homestay & Cafe: An innovative combination of rural homestays and cafes, where you can enjoy farm food and rural coffee.
