These special summer bus routes include No. 1 along Chang'an Avenue, No. 877 straight to the Badaling Great Wall, and Special Line 20 connecting various universities, scenic spots, and historical sites. 

This route passes by many of Beijing's most famous landmarks, including the Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution, the Capital Museum, Tian'anmen Square, the National Centre for the Performing Arts, and the China World Trade Center. The No. 1 bus has been running along Chang'an Avenue for 62 years, witnessing all the ups and downs of the city and the local's life.

This route links three parks – Chaoyang Park, Olympic Forest, and Beijing Wenyuhe Park - three night tour landmarks - the Liangma River, Beijing Olympic Tower, and the Megalights Wonderland - and four business districts - Yansha and SOLANA, Sun Palace, Ya'ao, and Beiyuan Road - providing access to many popular attractions along the way.

This route takes tourists to such historical buildings and cultural landscapes as Yonghe Lama Temple, Beijing Ancient Observatory, Qianmen Street, Financial Street, and Mei Lanfang Theatre.

Experience old Beijing through its musical stop announcement featuring Zhao Lei's Drum Tower, a song renowned for its poetic lyrics and nostalgic melody. Explore the grandeur of the Forbidden City, the cultural vibrancy of the city's famous hutongs, listen to the evening drums and morning bells at the Drum Tower, and enjoy boating in Beihai Park.

Travel along this bus route, where you can visit landmarks like the National Stadium (Bird's Nest), Water Cube, Tian'anmen Square, and Deshengmen, witnessing the development and changes of Beijing.

This route stops at the stations of Bagou, Summer Palace West Gate, Chapeng, Wan'an, China National Botanical Garden, and Fragrant Hills. Along the way, you will catch glimpses of ancient gardens, lush mountain forests, and tranquil lakes.

The public transportation to the three major cultural facilities of Beijing Municipal Administrative Center is as easy as the following.
Special Lines 1 and 2 connect to the Beijing Subway Ba Tong Line, Line 6, and Line 7 and make it easy for tourists to visit the Beijing Performing Arts Centre, Beijing Library, and Beijing Grand Canal Museum. Buses depart from the adjacent parking lot.

Additionally, Bus No. 317 also serves these three facilities.

During the summer holidays, tourists can catch Special Line 20 at Beigongmen Station for Tsinghua University, Peking University, the Summer Palace, and the Old Summer Palace.

Catch No. 877 at Deshengmen in the morning for a direct trip to the Badaling Great Wall Scenic Area. Bus No. 879 departs from Badaling Great Wall Station (opposite to the stop of Bus No. 877) at noon for Dagongmen and Dingling for anyone looking to visit the Ming Tombs or the Dingling Tomb and Zhaoling Tomb scenic areas.
