China Dinosaur Park is located at No. 60, Hehai East Road, Xinbei District, Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is very close to Jiangyin, approximately over 30 kilometers away, making it a popular choice for a day trip. Here are the main ways to get there:
By Car / Taxi (Most Recommended)
Driving: From Jiangyin, the most convenient route is to take the G42 (Shanghai–Chengdu Expressway) and take Exit S340 (marked for Changzhou / Jiangyin). Follow the navigation and you will arrive in about 35–45 minutes.
Taxi: A taxi ride costs approximately 150 RMB.
By Public Transportation
Intercity Bus + City Bus: You can first take a "Jiangyin–Changzhou" intercity bus from Jiangyin Bus Station, get off near the "Supai Clothing" stop, then transfer to Bus No. 29 in Changzhou to reach the park directly. The whole journey may take over 2 hours.
High-Speed Train + City Bus: Take a high-speed train from Jiangyin Station to Changzhou Station or Changzhou North Station, then transfer to bus routes such as No. 29, No. 302, or B12 to reach the park. This option is also quite convenient.
If your itinerary already includes the Jiangyin Bund and Xu Xiake's Former Residence, driving is the best choice for flexibility and time efficiency. Remember to check real-time traffic conditions on a map app before you set off.
