A Mid-Autumn Carb Run

Bread takes center stage at Baiyun MixC One this Mid-Autumn holiday, with more than 50 bakeries from 20 cities gathering for the mall’s first Bread Festival. Over 20 brands are making their Guangzhou debut, joined by a run of city-exclusive creations. Matcha is having an especially big moment, turning up in everything from ciabatta and toast to cream-filled buns, tarts, and Basque cheesecake. Bagels, Japanese-style loaves, macarons, desserts, coffee, and freshly made snacks round out the lineup.
