Recently, staff at Wujiang Toll Station on the G1522 Changshu-Taizhou Expressway helped two foreign tourists continue their journey. Their attentive, thoughtful service earned genuine praise from the two tourists.

The incident took place at about 9 a.m. that day. Two Italian tourists were driving to visit Lili Ancient Town when they were stopped at the entrance of Wujiang Toll Station on the G1522 Changshu-Taizhou Expressway. Because their vehicle had foreign license plates and its temporary plates were not valid for travel on Jiangsu's expressway network, they could not enter and got stuck.

Li Pengcheng, the shift leader on duty, noticed the two tourists looking anxious and helpless and immediately went over to offer help. Using a translation app on his phone, he patiently communicated with them and asked about their destination and travel plans. To ensure they could continue their journey, Li guided the vehicle to a safe area within the toll station and reported the situation to Zhou Jiwei, the station manager on duty. Zhou first reassured the two tourists, then mapped out the best route on local roads for them. Zhou drove ahead and escorted them all the way to the entrance of the Sutongli Elevated Road, which leads directly to Lili Ancient Town, successfully resolving their travel issue.

"We will follow the route you suggested. Thank you so much. You are so kind." Before departing, the two tourists expressed their sincere gratitude to the Wujiang Toll Station staff via the translation app. Their simple words reflected their strong appreciation for the quality service provided by Suzhou's expressways.
