In recent years, the Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Bureau has thoroughly implemented the important directive of "gathering talent from all over the world to put their abilities to good use," adopting more proactive, open, and effective policies for attracting and cultivating international talent. It has established eight “Foreign Expert's Book Houses” at key institutions such as China North Market, Tianjin University, and Tianjin Foreign Studies University, creating venues and platforms for foreign experts to engage in learning and exchange, understand China, and get to know Tianjin. Concurrently, the Bureau has launched a comprehensive pilot reform for foreign talent service support, enhancing the level of basic public services for foreign talent in four areas: attraction and utilization of foreign talent, career development, service support, and social integration. These efforts aim to help foreign experts integrate swiftly into work and life in Tianjin and support their long-term, stable development in the city.
Next, the Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Bureau will guide the “Foreign Expert's Book House” in organizing a variety of activities, striving to transform it into a bridge that fosters communication and exchange among foreign talent, a platform that projects a positive image of Tianjin, and a new vehicle for serving foreign experts.
