Hubei receives 60 mln tourist visits during Spring Festival holiday

Hubei received a total of 60.0896 million tourist visits during the just-concluded Spring Festival holiday, a year-on-year increase of 10.41 percent compared to the same period in 2025, according to the Department of Culture and Tourism of Hubei Province on Feb. 25, 2026.

Data from the China Tourism Academy showed that Hubei ranked seventh nationwide for tourist arrivals during the holiday.
In addition, tourism revenue in Hubei reached 42.376 billion yuan during the period, up 13.40 percent from 2025.
Data from Fliggy, a major online travel platform in China, indicated rapid growth in both tourist visits and tourism consumption in Hubei during the holiday, with the growth rates in both number of consumers and transaction value ranking first nationwide.
