Jul 04, 2026

Hangzhou  2026.07.04 - 2026.07.12

On July 6, 2019, the Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Since then, Hangzhou has designated July 6 each year as “Hangzhou Liangzhu Day” -- a special occasion to look back on 5,000 years of civilization, tell the story of Liangzhu, and promote heritage preservation and cultural exchange. This year, the 7th Hangzhou Liangzhu Day is coming. From July 4 to 12, Liangzhu Culture Week will invite you to travel through five millennia of history, step into Liangzhu, and feel the enduring legacy left by the ancestors.

Free admission starts July 4

From July 4 to 12, first-entry tickets will be free for three major heritage parks: the Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City, Yaoshan Archaeological Site Park, and Laohuling Archaeological Site Park. On Monday, July 6(Monday), Liangzhu Museum will also be open to visitors as usual.
