Dance of Fire - MALEVO

MALEVO, the all-male dance group from Argentina, brings its passionate performance Dance of Fire to Guangzhou.
Named an official "Cultural Ambassador of the National Identity of Argentina," the South American ensemble has given sold-out performances in major cities across the U.S., Europe and Australia. They have collaborated with Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin, and Cirque du Soleil, earning rave reviews and a dedicated fan base.
Dance of Fire combines the traditional malambo folk dance with flamenco and other dance genres. Malambo is a traditional dance passed down from the gauchos, the cowboys of Argentina's plains, who danced to entertain and compete with each other. It incorporates elements of the cowboys' everyday life and reflects Argentina's rich cultural fusion. Malambo dancers focus on dazzling percussive footwork with impossibly intricate rhythms, performed at a breakneck pace and accompanied by the deep beats of bombos, creating an extraordinary sensory experience unlike any other.
