Development Foundation
Xiamen possesses a solid foundation in chip, electronic components, and network equipment manufacturing, with reserves in frontier technologies and demonstrated applications in several domains. Xiamen serves as a key hub for the China Environment for Network Innovations (CENI) future network testing facility. Xiamen University leads a sub-project within the Project of Internet Technology 1 (PIT1) future internet experimental facility. Both Xiamen University and Jimei University are actively developing expertise in satellite internet, optical communications, and 6G technologies. Key players in the sector include Tianwei Technology, UXfastic, Eochip Semiconductor, Epihouse, San’an Integrated Circuit, ChinaNetCenter, Yisu Cloud, EPiMEMS, and SOPHGO.

Demonstration Applications Focusing on key application areas such as the low-altitude economy and the Internet of Vehicles (IoV); Developing application scenarios for low-altitude inspection, logistics, tourism, and smart public transportation; Supporting business-led application verification and pilot projects; Driving technological iteration and industrial upgrading through large-scale, systematic benchmark applications; Building a comprehensive future-oriented network industrial ecosystem.
