DRIVERLESS, SELF-UNLOADING

Dr. Ge Xingfu, academician of the German National Academy of Sciences and Engineering, rushed from Guangdong overnight—just to see with his own eyes the smart farm in Changsha during its "double harvest" season.  

Four autonomous harvesters move freely across the fields. Once grain silos are full, each harvester automatically locates a transport truck and unloads the crop. Behind them, rice transplanters and drones work in coordination. With digital sensing and intelligent operations, not a single farmer is present in the fields.
