Housing Subsidies for College Graduates

Available for:

College graduates with a bachelor's degree or above.

Qualifications:

1. Full-time graduates (including overseas returnees) at the undergraduate level or above must have obtained the corresponding degrees and are within three years after graduation (for an overseas graduate-level returnee, within the three years of his/her employment or starting a enterprise in Qingdao);
2. Having household registration in Qingdao (foreign graduates and graduates from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan are not subject to this provision);
3. The applicant is employed or has started a business in Qingdao with his/her urban employee social insurance contributions being paid by the employer or the entrepreneurial entity (including self-employed business) he/she founded.

Benefits:

RMB 500/month for those with a bachelor's degree; RMB 800/month for those with a Master's degree; RMB 1,200/month for those with a doctoral degree; Payable for a maximum of 36 months.

Process:

1. Academic qualification confirmation: the applicant logs in to the "Qingdao Talent Website" (http://rc.qingdao.gov.cn), and fill in relevant academic information on the platform "Qingdao Renshe·Xuelihui";
2. Upon the academic qualification confirmation, the applicant apply for housing allowance through the "Qingdao Talent Website" (http://rc.qingdao.gov.cn) or the "Qingdao Talent" WeChat official account;
3. The human resources and social security department verifies the applications made in the previous month on the first working day of each month and distributes the allowance after the review and public notice procedures according to regulations.
