Baiyun District, Guangzhou Launches Global Recruitment for 100 Youth Partners

On May 25, the opening ceremony of the 6th Baiyun District Science and Technology Talent Activity Week was held at the Guangzhou Private Science and Technology Innovation Exhibition Center.

At the event, Baiyun District unveiled three initiatives. First, the Baiyun District Intelligent Robotics Industry Ecosystem Joint Construction Initiative was officially launched, connecting upstream and downstream enterprises, universities, and research institutions in the industrial chain to jointly create an industrial community characterized by collaborative innovation, openness and win-win cooperation. Second, the Yunwan Embodied Intelligence Innovation Center was officially established as the core engine of intelligent agents in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and an empowerment base for the embodied intelligence industry. It will adopt a model of "scenario-driven, secondary development, and ecosystem co-creation" to create a complete closed loop from technical validation to industrial empowerment. Third, the Guangzhou Baiyun District Youth Partner Program officially began recruiting 100 "Youth Partners" globally, and launched the "Jia He Wang Gang Package" service to provide young talents with a full-chain support system covering housing, entrepreneurship, and growth.

Reporters learned that Baiyun District has gathered 22 key enterprises in the upstream and downstream robotics industry chain, with an annual output value (revenue) exceeding ¥5 billion in 2025, indicating the initial emergence of industrial scale and agglomeration effects. Baiyun District has increased support for the cultivation of high-energy-level scientific research platforms. To date, it has established 4 academician workstations, 7 postdoctoral research workstations, 12 postdoctoral innovation practice bases, and 5 doctoral workstations, and has cultivated over 200 municipal-level and above scientific and technological innovation carriers. Baiyun District has also focused on the integrated planning and promotion of talent attraction and project attraction, successfully introducing a number of high-quality talent projects and enterprises, including Huajiao Biotechnology led by Professor Hu Xiaoqing's team from Jiangnan University, and Lizhi Intelligence led by Professor Xie Longhan's team from South China University of Technology.

During the event week, the district will jointly launch over 20 talent and science popularization themed activities, creating an innovation feast characterized by citywide participation and cross-border integration. Among them, the talent segment focuses on the integration of industry and talent. Through brand activities such as government-university-enterprise matchmaking, skilled talent experience camps, industrial software salons, and the "Yunchuang Cup" Campus Science and Technology Festival, it aims to precisely bridge the "last mile" between the talent chain and the industrial chain.
