Travel Time from Los Angeles to Chengdu to be Shortened

Flights between Los Angeles and Chengdu Tianfu International Airport will be operated on new schedules, starting on March 30, with the cancellation of the stopover in Hangzhou City in eastern China and the travel time from Los Angeles to Chengdu to be cut from the present 18 hours and 40 minutes to 15 hours and 40 minutes. The travel time from Chengdu Tianfu International Airport to Los Angeles, however, will see a slight increase from the present 13 hours to 14 hours and 20 minutes.

There are three flights a week between the two cities at present, on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday, with all the round-trip flights conducted by Airbus A350.
On February 19, Tibet Airlines will launch the Lhasa-Chengdu (Tianfu International Airport)-Hong Kong flight, which will be operated on Wednesday and Sunday every week.
