As part of the "Hangzhou, A Window to China's 5,000-year Civilization" initiative, the Hangzhou International Communication Center(HZICC) has launched its invitation of 10 international friends to be "Hangzhou Seekers" for a week-long, fully funded immersive exploration of the city. Numerous inquiries and recommendations from home and abroad have poured in.

Eligibility Criteria for Recommended Seekers:
1. Foreign nationals who have never visited Hangzhou (fluent in English prefered).
2. From cities with rich historical heritage or UNESCO sites.
3. Passionate about history and culture, open to diverse civilizations.
4. Skilled in sharing experiences via writing, photography, or vlogs.
5. Available to participate fully from
June 8 to 14.

- A Mexican entrepreneur, Gerardo, was recommended by his long-term business partner Cathy. Having not visited China in over 20 years, he hopes to rediscover the country through Hangzhou.
