Immersive Quju Opera: Cha Guan (Teahouse)

This immersive production of Beijing Quju Opera, produced by Beijing Quju Opera Troupe, has adapted the Act I of Lao She's original masterpiece Teahouse. Breaking the traditional theatrical conventions, this production invites audiences to join actors as "patrons" sharing the same tables, delivering an authentic Beijing cultural ambiance and a highly immersive and engaging experience.

London West End's Original Play: Life of Pi

The West End's original production of "Life of Pi" was adapted from Yann Martel's bestselling novel.

This stage play has received high acclaims from both the theatrical industry and audiences for its unique expression through puppetry and innovative stage techniques. In terms of stage design, the turbulent ocean, the floating boat, and the ever-changing and unpredictable weather are realistically and impressively recreated before the audience through ingenious lighting and visual effects. 

Original French Musical: Notre-Dame de Paris

This has been the first French musical permanently performed in London, and a legendary production deviating from the traditions of the West End and Broadway, with 55 mellifluous songs throughout the entire performance. 

Dance Drama: Wing Chun

"Wing Chun" deconstructs the genetic codes of traditional Chinese martial arts with innovative thinking, interpreting the essence of combat of Wing Chun (a type of martial arts) in a dramatic fashion full of prowess. In this dance drama, Wing Chun and Xiangyunsha (a type of silk), two of China's national intangible cultural heritage items, are presented on the same stage. It ingeniously integrates these two national treasures with the folk culture of Lingnan (a region in South China) within theatrical production.

Ballets: Carmen & L'Arlésienne

"Carmen" interprets the free-spirited love and tragic fate of a wild Gypsy girl through the passionate Flamenco rhythms of Spain, while "L'Arlésienne" employs the pastoral melodies of Provence, France to narrate the inner conflicts and struggles of a young man trapped in unrequited love. These two masterpieces by Georges Bizet — one blazing like scorching flames while the other shimmering like gentle moonlight — collectively present a complex tapestry of human nature and emotions.
