The Shenzhen Tourism Association, with support from the Qianhai Authority, recently launched three distinctive international travel routes in Qianhai, each themed around fashion, coastal scenery, and the future.
These routes highlight Qianhai’s unique blend of Hong Kong charm, international flair, coastal beauty, modernization, and futuristic vision, offering travelers a comprehensive view of the area’s multifaceted appeal.
Two expat vloggers — Ugur Kayan from Türkiye and Kseniia Filipchenko from Russia — were invited to try the Future Route and Fashion Route, respectively. The videos they shot during their journeys have captivated online audiences, sparking global interest in Qianhai’s dynamic offerings.
The Future Route: Innovation meets daily life

The Future Route is a celebration and exploration of how technological advancements and cutting-edge innovations enrich our daily experiences. The route begins at the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneur Hub (E-hub) Northern District, where visitors board a state-of-the-art autonomous shuttle to tour the vibrant Qianwan and Guiwan areas.
It culminates at the UAM Operation Center in OH Bay with a glimpse into the future of transportation — low-altitude urban air mobility powered by electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
At the E-hub, Kayan was struck by the sleek, spacious offices, abundant amenities like restaurants, cafes, and retail outlets, and the vibrant ecosystem supporting startups incubated in the hub.
The E-hub is an international service platform created by the Qianhai Authority. Its mission is to support the innovation and entrepreneurship of young people from Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and the world, helping them to realize their dreams.
As of June 30, the E-hub has incubated 1,533 entrepreneurial teams. Of these teams, 1,108 were from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and overseas, and 79 of them have grown into national high-tech enterprises.
Continuing his adventure, Kayan took the autonomous B996 bus and hailed a driverless taxi. “The bus and taxi reflect China’s cutting-edge progress. The taxi even yields to pedestrians, which is truly impressive,” he remarked.
Currently, there are four autonomous bus lines (B996, B997, B998, and B999) operating in Qianhai. Residents and visitors alike can reserve free rides through the “深巴出行” WeChat miniprogram and enjoy a futuristic commute.

The Fashion Route: Qianhai’s trendsetting hubs

The Fashion Route features five popular commercial destinations in Qianhai, including K11 ECOAST Art and Cultural District by the Sea, Sea World, Qianhai MixC, Qianhai Uniwalk, and OH Bay.
Beginning at K11 ECOAST — the innovative art and cultural complex by the sea — Filipchenko found herself enchanted by its blend of contemporary art, retail stores, rooftop ecology, and breathtaking ocean views. The visit redefined her vision of what a shopping destination can be.
At the Qianhai MixC shopping mall, she explored zones that appeal to families, adventurers, fashion enthusiasts, and food lovers. Filipchenko was particularly interested in a lush garden in the mall’s sunken plaza and an exhibition of a futuristic flying car from Xpeng Motors (Xiaopeng).
Her half-day visit to Sea World included snapping selfies at picture-perfect spots, experiencing a driverless sightseeing mini-bus, appreciating art exhibitions at the Sea World Culture and Arts Center, savoring global cuisine, and watching a nighttime music fountain show.

The Coastal Route features three seaside destinations that highlight Qianhai’s breathtaking, natural beauty — Taizi Bay (near Sea World), Qianhai Bay (adjacent to Qianhai Stone Park and OH Bay), and Xiwan Bay (close to the Xiwan Mangrove Wetland Park in Bao’an).
Travelers can immerse themselves in Qianhai's coastal splendor and refreshing sea breeze by taking leisurely strolls, biking along scenic pathways, or embarking on a sightseeing cruise.
By launching these three travel routes, Qianhai is positioning itself as a new cultural and tourism hotspot within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
