【Established Date】Tianjin and Setubal signed a letter of intent to establish friendship-city relations on Dec 5, 2018.
【City Characteristics】Setubal, located on the north bank of Sado Estuary and adjacent to Lisbon, is the third largest port in Portugal. Its industries mainly include ceramics, salt making, canned sardines, wine and cork wood processing.
【Cooperation Fields】At present, Tianjin and Setubal are engaged in vocational education. Tianjin Vocational College of Mechanics and Electricity and Polytechnic Institute of Setubal have jointly built Luban Workshop in Portugal.
