AISG PTA Holiday Bazaar

AISG is hosting its annual PTA Holiday Bazaar on December 7! The event is open to the public, with tickets being RMB20. The AISG community, students, and outside vendors will be selling exciting items and hosting many different holiday activities. Last year there were a record 80 booths! Come and find jewelry, housewares, Christmas decorations, accessories, homemade Christmas cookies, shoes, bags, and so much more. Tell your friends, grandparents, and families and bring them along. ISD Merit-Based Scholarship Program Launched

The International School of Dongguan (ISD) launched its first Merit-Based Scholarship Program for currently enrolled and prospective students! This historic initiative will open new opportunities for high-achieving students, inspiring them to reach new heights in their academic journey and promoting a school-wide culture that values hard work, dedication, and achievement.

Last week, QSI Shenzhen hosted a Regional Professional Development event, uniting educators, administrators, and directors from QSI schools across the region for a powerful experience in collaboration and professional growth. QSI welcomed leaders from the QSI head office, including QSI President Jerry Scott and Regional Director Patrick Doherty, who opened the event with inspiring talks on the future of education.

Throughout the event, participants engaged in impactful sessions on topics like AI productivity, curriculum implementation, goal setting, and guided reading instruction. These sessions offered a wealth of ideas and practical strategies to elevate QSI's teaching practices and learning environments.

AS-level drama students at SCIE were lucky to have a workshop with British theater company Paper Birds. Paper Birds specializes in verbatim theater techniques and will be the chosen practitioner for the AS-level devised theater work. The workshop was not just a lecture but a hands-on learning experience, allowing the students to apply the devising techniques and practices in real time.

SGA is Fully Accredited by CIS

Shenzhen Foreign Languages GBA Academy (SGA) has been awarded International Accreditation by the Council of International Schools (CIS). With this achievement, SGA has now become the first CIS Internationally Accredited Boarding School in Shenzhen that provides education from Grade 1 to Grade 12.

SGA was granted CIS school membership in 2022 and hosted the CIS Accreditation Visit in September 2024. The visiting team spent a week touring the SGA campus, observing classes, reviewing reports, andmeeting with teachers, parents, and students. CIS provided positive feedback on SGA's high-quality education, student-centered care, and multicultural environment.
