In a move to streamline the visa application process, China has announced that starting from Sept 2, 2024, through Dec 31, 2025, it will waive the requirement for fingerprint collection for all short-term visa applicants.
This exemption applies to those seeking single or double entry visas for stays not exceeding 180 days at Chinese embassies and consulates abroad. The decision aims to enhance the convenience for travelers planning short visits to China.
