Bababus joins AI Hangzhou to facilitate trips for int'l visitors

To enhance the travel experience for international visitors in China, Bababus has officially integrated with the AI Hangzhou mini-program on Alipay, providing mobile-number-free ticket purchasing services under the “Intercity Bus” section. This significantly expands transportation options for international travelers. As the official intercity bus ticketing platform of Zhejiang Province, Bababus now covers nearly 1,000 stations across five provinces in East China, enabling online booking for both regular and customized bus tickets. The collaboration with AI Hangzhou on Alipay further broadens service accessibility, ensuring a smoother journey for non-Chinese users.

Domestic and international users can purchase tickets and request e-invoices on Bababus mini-program through AI Hangzhou platform without providing a phone number.
Alipay International users can directly click on "Intercity Bus" on the homepage to enter the ticketing mini-program.

Step-by-Step Booking Guide (Alipay)

Open the Alipay app, search for the “Bababus” mini-program, or navigate to the AI Hangzhou homepage, select “More Services”, and find “Intercity Bus” under “Convenience Service

Enter or select the departure city, destination, and travel date, then click "Search" to view available routes.
Choose the desired route (for intercity trips, select boarding and drop-off stations), add passenger information, and proceed to checkout.
After successful payment, present the valid ID document at the departure station for boarding.
To further enhance convenience, key transit hubs now offer bilingual (Chinese-English) announcements, “Tap-to-Pay” systems, and facial recognition gates. Currently, 0.33% of tickets issued in Hangzhou are purchased using international documents, reflecting the platform’s commitment to serving global travelers and continuously upgrading its capabilities.
