Suzhou Taihu Lake Digital Half Marathon registration opens

The 2026 Suzhou Taihu Lake Digital Half Marathon is set to gun off on March 29. Registration has started, followed by a lottery draw as the number of participants is capped at 5,000.

With a length of 21.0975 kilometers, the course is the first five-star intelligent course around Taihu Lake certified by the Chinese Athletics Association. It is relatively flat and wide, making it the perfect place for runners to set new personal bests. The entire course features only one turnaround point, a maximum elevation of 31 meters and a total elevation gain of just 43 meters.

Start Line (Mashan Tourist Center 马山游客中心 )→North Taihu Avenue 北太湖大道 (passing RV Camping Park 房车露营公园 , Chushan Ecological Park 杵山生态公园 , Xijing Bay Flower Sea 西京湾花海 and Xijing Bay Art Center 西京湾艺术中心 )→Turnaround Point→Xijing Bay 西京湾 Southeast Entrance→Internal Roads of Xijing Bay→Xijing Bay West Exit→North Taihu Avenue→Finish Line (Mashan Tourist Center)

As its name suggests, the half marathon will be supported by various high technologies such as AI data collectors and face recognition, so as to track distance, calories and speed. After the race, runners can check personal reports and download photos via the Kyeah platform.
