Chengdu 2026.05.01 - 2026.05.02
From May 1 to 5, 2026, the 2026 Chengdu International Pet Sports Games (CDIPSG), themed “Blooms & Paws Bring Cuteness to Tianfu” , is set to be held at Sansheng Flower Town, Jinjiang District.

The 2026 CDIPSG, centered on sports, innovatively integrates international professional dog competitions with fun pet contests for the general public. A wide range of experiences, such as a pet market, charity veterinary clinics, and outdoor camping, will be offered. Based on Sansheng Flower Town’s resources in ecotourism and cultural tourism, the games will feature a distinctive setting with flower and pet themes, which will enable the integration of professional competition, public participation, cultural tourism, and shared enjoyment for both people and pets.

Professional Competition
The 2026 CDIPSG introduces the CKUWDC Dog Agility Competition and the CKUWDC-ROB Family Dog Obedience Competition, both of which are hosted by the China Kennel Union (CKU), a professional canine organization in China. The CKU is the only Chinese member of the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI), a leading world canine federation founded in 1911 and headquartered in Belgium and currently the world’s largest canine organization.

Fun Contests
For over two million pet-keeping households in Chengdu, the host has specially introduced the Fluffy Dog Competition, which includes four events: a ball retrieval competition, an easy agility competition, a sprint competition, and a fun tug of war. All dogs will compete in two categories: small-to-medium-sized breeds and medium-to-large-sized breeds. The events are expected to attract 2,000 pet dogs and award 24 champions, runners-up, and third-place titles.

The events—the CKUWDC Dog Agility Competition, the CKUWDC-ROB Family Dog Obedience Competition, and the Fluffy Dog Competition—will be held from May 1 to 2.
Additionally, the Flower and Pet Lifestyle Market will be held from May 3 to 5 at Sansheng Flowers Market, running throughout the International Workers’ Day holiday.
