Recently, the Hangzhou Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism planned and produced a video series titled "Hangzhou: Foreigners Explore Tech-Infused Culture and Tourism," inviting expats living in Hangzhou to share their firsthand experiences of the city's cultural and tourism offerings empowered by technology, presenting a genuine, multidimensional, inclusive, and open image of Hangzhou.
In this episode, the protagonist Andrea, a student majoring in engineering at Zhejiang University from Mexico, visited Yong'an Village in Yuhang after her final exams and stepped into a "cyber farmland." She was amazed by the digital big screen monitoring over 5,400 mu of rice fields, crop protection drones, mobile phone-managed farmlands, and mini-program shared vegetable plots. She said, "I came here wanting to escape my final exams, but when I left, I took away a small piece of Hangzhou that belongs to me."
