Member of the Art Education Development Committee of the Russian Federation Ministry of Culture, initiator of several international music festivals and international choral conducting competitions. Recipient of the Russian Federation Presidential Cultural Award, the Honorary Certificate of the Russian Federation Ministry of Culture, the Russian Federation Ministry of Defense Award and the Moscow City Government Award.

The Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, formerly known as "Moscow Conservatory", is abbreviated as "ChaiYuan" in Chinese. It was founded in 1866 and is one of the world's top music conservatories and also one of the oldest music conservatories in Russia. The ChaiYuan Conservatory aims to cultivate master-level musicians. Since its establishment nearly 160 years ago, it has nurtured numerous outstanding musicians, leaving an indelible mark in the world's cultural music history. The ChaiYuan Conservatory is even hailed as a legend in the music world from the 19th to the 20th century and holds a symbolic position of significance. The Chastoy Conservatory Chorus (abbreviated as "ChaiYuan Chorus") was established in 1994 at the initiative of the current principal of the Chastoy Conservatory and former Russian Culture Minister Alexander Sokolov. It was organized and founded by one of the most outstanding contemporary choral conductors, Boris Tevlin, a Russian People's Artist. It is recognized as "an international top-level chorus". The Chastoy Chorus has won the Grand Prize and two Gold Prizes at the 8th Garda Lakefront International Chorus Festival (Italy, 1998); the Gold Prize at the Brahms International Chorus Competition (Germany, 1999); the First Prize at the World Olympic Chorus Competition (Austria, 2000); the Grand Prize at the 22nd International Orthodox Music Festival "Hajnówka 2003" (Poland, 2003); and the German Classical Music (Classical Echo) Award for "Best Opera Performance of the 21st Century to the 21st Century" for the Russian opera "The Wife of Morozov" - "Best Opera Performance of the Year" in the "Opera of the 21st Century to the 21st Century" category; it also won three Gold Prizes and four Special Prizes in the International Top Chorus Competition - World Chorus Games (World Choir Games) in 2014; the Grand Prize, three Gold Prizes and four Special Prizes in the Yu. Falik "Singing World" International Chorus and Vocal Music Competition (Saint Petersburg, Russia) in 2015; and in 2020, it won the "Best Conductor", three Gold Prizes and four Special Prizes in this competition; it also won the "Best Audio Recording International Award for Russian Academy Music 'Pure Sound'" in the Chorus and Vocal Music Category for Chorus Works at this competition twice in 2019 and 2021; in 2019, it performed at the G20 Summit held in Japan.
