In order to thoroughly implement the requirements of the provincial party committee and the provincial government on further introducing European quality experts and strengthening the docking cooperation with European "invisible champion" enterprises, on September 21, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology (The Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs of Hebei Province) held a special training meeting with German economist Herman Simon, who is known as the father of "invisible champion". Long Fenjie, director of the Provincial Science and Technology Department, Gao Jianfeng, deputy director, Wang Zhongqun, second-class inspector, Professor Herman Simon, and Uweiside, general manager of Germany Ruike Technical Service Company attended the meeting. Responsible comrades of the relevant offices of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology (The Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs of Hebei Province), responsible comrades of municipal science and technology bureaus (Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs), and quality management leaders of 150 enterprises in our province, such as state-level specialized and innovative "little giant" enterprises and small and medium-sized science and technology enterprises, participated in the training.

Long Fenjie extended a warm welcome to Professor Simon and his party. He said that Hebei is currently in a critical period to promote high-quality development. As a traditional manufacturing province, it is particularly important to carry out the work of "helping enterprises to attract wisdom" to help enterprises optimize production management processes, improve product quality standards, and accelerate the internationalization process of "going global". Professor Simon is an outstanding representative of the German management field. I believe that this exchange and cooperation will further help Hebei enterprises to explore the European market, accelerate the cultivation of a group of "invisible champions" and a group of quality management talents with international vision and pioneering spirit, and promote the whole industry to move towards the high end of the global industrial chain, science and technology chain and value chain.

Professor Simon thanked the Hebei Provincial Department of Science and Technology (The Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs of Hebei Province) for its warm reception and spoke highly of the achievements of international talent exchange and cooperation in Hebei Province. He said that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of all-round strategic partnership between China and Germany. With the deepening of Sino-German economic and trade relations, enterprises from both sides have learned from each other, showing great potential for achieving a win-win situation. He will actively assist enterprises such as "specializing in innovation" to carry out global strategic layout, cultivate more quality management talents and promote the emergence of more "invisible champion" enterprises. Professor Simon gave a special training on the topic of "Invisible Champion-Successful Experience of the World's Most Mysterious Market Leader". Starting from the economic relationship between China and Germany and the current globalization development process, he analyzed the opportunities and challenges of building an "invisible champion" enterprise in combination with the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in Hebei Province, and explained the key for small and medium-sized enterprises to grow into "invisible champions" from seven aspects, and gave countermeasures and suggestions.
Before the training meeting, the Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs of Hebei Province, Hebei Science and Technology Enterprise Integrated Service Platform, Baoding Hongteng Technology Co., Ltd. and Hebei Sunua Advanced Material Co.,Ltd. respectively signed cooperation framework agreements with Professor Simon and his party around "helping enterprises attract wisdom", building overseas centers, introducing advanced quality management methods and new equipment, improving production processes and certifying products for going to sea.

In the next step, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology (The Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs of Hebei Province) will continue to increase the efforts of "helping enterprises to attract wisdom", benchmark the international first-class, build an overseas center of Hebei's comprehensive service platform for science and technology enterprises to go to sea, and build an international cross-border talent science and technology innovation acceleration service platform integrating the functions of "talent introduction+science and technology innovation incubation+accelerator+cross-border service station+foreign headquarters economy" to help enterprises in our province explore the global market and enhance their international competitiveness in segmentation.
