Xiamen Old Courtyard Scenic Area

National AAAA-level Tourist Attraction · The Xiamen Old Courtyard Scenic Area is a grand cultural tourism project invested 1.3 billion CNY by Huaxia Cultural Tourism Group. It consists of seven main sections: the Old Courtyard Folk Culture Park, the live-action show Minnan Legend, the immersive outdoor performance Naval Battle, the Penguin & Pet Zoo, the Dreamland Water Park, the "Hi-Fun" Parent-Child Town, and the Sky City Water Slide.

1. Old Courtyard Folk Culture Park
Step back in time to an ancient Minnan fishing village, immersing yourself in traditional fishing culture, Mazu worship, Nanyang (Southeast Asian) influences, Minnan customs, and the 5,000-year legacy of Chinese ancestral heritage. Here, you can witness the essence of Minnan folk culture in a single glance.
2. The Mobile Live-Action Show – Minnan Legend
The Huaxia Cultural Tourism Grand Theater, a landmark of the Old Courtyard Scenic Area, features a uniquely designed movable seating platform. This innovation breaks the conventional single-stage performance format, rotating and moving the audience to optimal viewing positions for an unparalleled audio-visual experience.
3. Large-Scale Immersive Outdoor Show – Naval Battle
Based on the historic 1633 Battle of Liaoluo Bay, Naval Battle is an immersive outdoor performance that recounts the heroic patriotic tale of the Zheng family leading Minnan’s military and civilians in resisting Dutch invaders.
4. Cute Pet Penguin Zoo
The Penguin & Pet Zoo is Xiamen’s first trendy attraction combining penguins, adorable animals, and a family-friendly playground.
5. Dreamland Water Park
Dreamland Water Park features a wave pool, recreational pools, and a children’s water playground, offering endless aquatic fun for visitors.
6. "Hi-Fun" Parent-Child Town
The "Hi-Fun" Parent-Child Town is a newly developed outdoor recreational ecosystem in the Old Courtyard, widely praised by visitors as the "ultimate kids’ paradise."
7. Sky City Water Slide
From the observation tower, visitors can admire the breathtaking views of the Old Courtyard through the Sky Mirror beneath their feet, then plunge down a 50-meter-high water slide for a thrilling ride with panoramic scenery.
