Street Dance Theater: Inspired by the Eastern Wind @ SIDC

This groundbreaking production fuses street dance with Eastern philosophy, drawing inspiration from Zhuge Liang's legendary "borrowing the east wind" to celebrate the fighting spirit of contemporary Chinese youth. 
Featuring hip-hop, locking, house, popping, and waacking, the piece transforms street dance into refined professional theater art. 
Directed by Rao Yuhong and Ye Zheng, this acclaimed work earned a four-star review from The Scotsman at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and has been selected for the China Shanghai International Arts Festival Rising Artists' Works.
