The World Climbing Series Wujiang 2026 is set to take place at Fenhu Cultural and Sports Center 乐动力汾湖文体中心 from Friday to Sunday. A total of 223 athletes from 34 countries and regions will compete across four events: men's and women's lead and speed.

As the second leg of the World Climbing S eries 2026 and the first featuring both lead and speed events, the competition has attracted a star-studded lineup:

Sorato Anraku , champion in men's lead at World Climbing Series Wujiang 2025

Janja Garnbret , first-ever female Olympic gold medalist in climbing, winning 10 IFSC World Championships and the most IFSC gold medals in history

Seo Chae-hyun , current world No. 1 in women's lead

Samuel Watson, former world-record holder for men's speed

Long Jianguo, World Championships and World Games gold medalist

Wu Peng, silver medalist in men's speed at 2024 Summer Olympics

Desak Made Rita Kusuma Dewi , Asian-record holder for women's speed

Deng Lijuan, silver medalist in women's speed at 2024 Summer Olympics, World Games champion
