This was actually my first time visiting China. I must say that the country has far exceeded my expectations. Our journey began in the capital city, Beijing, and from there we traveled to Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

We went to Xinjiang Medical University, where we saw students using modern technology with advanced equipment. This was impressive, a commendable sign of progress. We also visited a wind power generation center, which serves as a profound example of China’s industrial advancement. The facility showcases China’s technical capabilities in producing clean energy.
We also explored a cultural exhibition where the rich culture and heritage of the local people were on display. Our time in the city’s market and among the local communities also revealed that the people of Xinjiang are friendly and eager for progress.
During my time in Xinjiang, I experienced several inspiring moments that deeply affected me. There were three main features of the region that especially caught my attention.
First, it was industry. The region's industrial development, guided by modern technology and innovation, is the result of careful planning and effective management. The production facilities stand out not only in terms of quality but also in their alignment with international standards.
Second, extensive infrastructure. The expansion and development of the region’s road, railways, electricity and transportation systems reflect the government’s strategic vision. Such foundational infrastructure plays a vital role in economic growth.
Third, beautiful civilization. The cultural heritage of the region, the orderly lifestyle of its people, their sense of cleanliness and discipline, and other aspects of urban civility show that the residents care not only about material progress but also about preserving their culture.
As I have observed, Xinjiang holds an important geopolitical and strategic position. It enjoys direct transit connections via railways, roads, and air corridors to Central Asia, Russia and Europe.

This trip was a very great opportunity for me to witness China’s rapid development, and to connect with the culture, knowledge, and innovation of its people. I will take many positive memories from this experience.
