Guide to New Year's Eve Celebrations at BJ's Shopping Malls

As 2026 approaches, have you decided where to celebrate your New Year's Eve? Major shopping malls across Beijing will roll out their own festive countdown events. Take a look at what's on offer.

On December 31, 2025, head to the south square of Huaxi LIVE Wukesong to join tens of thousands of revelers for a New Year countdown. Dazzling lights and vibrant stage performances will set the scene as you bid farewell to the old year and welcome the new.

Indulge in delicious food, enjoy live performances, and explore the shopping district... The newly opened Wanli (a shopping complex) is welcoming visitors with a packed program of cultural activities. A special New Year's Eve celebration will be held on December 31, with business hours to be extended past midnight.

Hit productions from the Wuzhen Theater Festival will make their Beijing debut. On New Year's Eve, the Volcano Park area will host a large-scale outdoor lighting-art spectacle centered on immersive light and shadow displays.

Time: December 26–28, 2025; December 31, 2025–January 3, 2026

Shoukai Tongzhou MixC will present the Midnight Miracle Snow Show at the atrium on L1 at midnight on December 31, 2025. The mall will extend its opening hours until 00:30 on January 1, 2026.

This year, Chang'an Mills at Shougang Park will transform into a large "AI-powered new gathering place", where futuristic robots and mecha-themed installations inspired by the imagined world of tomorrow will all join the celebration.
Shougang Park Concert will also return for a limited two-day run on December 31, 2025 and the New Year's Day, with live performances of popular hits.

The Super New Year's Eve Concert at Hopson One will kick off at 18:00 on December 31, 2025 and run through to midnight. The show will feature fan sing-along sessions and live band performances, culminating in a confetti display during the New Year countdown.

Multiple bands will perform at the New Year's Eve concert, alongside folk dance and street dance competitions. The event at Leduogang Wanda Plaza will also include multiple hourly lucky draws and a New Year countdown celebration, with over 5,000 gifts to be given away on the night.

Shoukai LONG Street will extend its business hours past early hours on January 1, 2026. From December 31, 2025 to January 3, 2026, the "Global Flavors Food Festival" will bring together more than 30 international food vendors. On the New Year's Eve, Shoukai LONG Street will collaborate with platforms including Sina Weibo and Dangdang.com to host a five-hour street carnival, which will feature live music roadshows, a huge countdown event, and an artificial snowfall ceremony, among others.
