Guide to free luggage storage at classical gardens

In hot summer days, carrying luggage while touring could be very troublesome. To address this situation, classical gardens directly administered by the city's gardening and greening bureau now offer free luggage storage service.

Luggage storage area at the Humble Administrator's Garden

The luggage storage site at the Humble Administrator's Garden 拙政园 is located by the general service hall and opens from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. It can accommodate everything from large baggage to backpacks.

Lockers at the Lingering Garden

The Lingering Garden 留园 has its luggage storage point at the tourist service station on the right side of the main entrance. Service hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. during peak season (Mar-Oct) and 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. during off season (Nov-Feb). Its spacious area can hold more than 30 pieces of luggage.

Located inside the tourist center at the parking lot, the luggage deposit area at the Lion Grove Garden 狮子林 is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in peak season (Apr, May, July, Aug, Sept, Oct) and 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in off season (Jan, Feb, Mar, June, Nov, Dec). From here, visitors can get a direct view of the famous Nine-Lion Rock in the garden.

At the Master of the Nets Garden 网师园 , visitors can deposit their luggage and pick up a tour map on the west side of the south gate. It has the same service hours as the Lingering Garden.

Lockers at Tiger Hill

The spacious luggage storage areas by the south and north gates of Tiger Hill 虎丘山风景名胜区 can each accommodate over 20 pieces of luggage, with service hours the same as the scenic area's opening times.

Visitors to the Canglang Pavilion 沧浪亭 and Keyuan Garden 可园 can leave their baggage in the self-service lockers by the entrance of Keyuan Garden between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

The Garden of Cultivation 艺圃 has free lockers to the left of its entrance , which is available from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The luggage deposit point at the Couple's Retreat Garden 耦园 is inside its tourist center and opens from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Lockers at Shangfangshan Forest Zoo

At Shangfangshan Forest Zoo 上方山森林动物世界 , the free luggage storage area is by the main entrance, open from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Shangfangshan National Forest Park 上方山国家森林公园 has free self-service lockers to the north of the tourist center, open from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Lockers at Tianping Mountain Scenic Area

At Tianping Mountain Scenic Area 天平山风景名胜区 , free luggage storage is available 24 hours a day at its main entrance square.

Note: Ask for a deposit slip when depositing your luggage. Valuables should be kept on hand. Storage space at some gardens may be limited during holidays, so early arrival is recommended. For oversized or special items, contact the scenic area in advance.
