Carrying photovoltaic modules, mechanical parts, and chemical materials, a train left Wujiashan Station in Wuhan on Oct. 11, 2025, heading towards Uzbekistan.
It marks the 100th trip since the service was launched by Hubei Railway Group.
Official data shows that the number of trips operated this year has increased by 339 percent compared to last year, seeing a monthly frequency of one trip every two days, and which reached a record high of 20 trips in September.
To date, this rail route spanning the Eurasian continent has transported over 70,000 tonnes of goods with a value of 1.25 billion yuan. It covers 25 cities in five Central Asian countries and eight other nations along the Belt and Road. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
