A special flower market will be set up at the square of Grand Canal Theater, where flowers will serve as a bridge linking ancient and contemporary folk customs. A variety of "Immortal Markets" will introduce local customs and features through crafts, food, and cultural elements. A book market will include time-honored bookstores, and a TCM exhibition, a core part of the event, will offer free health consultations, TCM cultural displays, and hands-on experiences. It is worth noting that "city wall concerts" will be staged at the newly-reopened Changmen Gate by Chinese folk music troupes and Western orchestras. This year's parades will be co-hosted by other districts and schools, creating a dynamic fusion of folk customs and modern culture. A number of youth-oriented activities such as a youth entrepreneurship fair, live music performances, and hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) parades will be rolled out.
