New scenic Taihu Lake cycling route unveiled

The Suzhou Taihu Lake Road Cycling Challenge will kick off next Saturday at 8 a.m. With both the start and finish lines set at Suzhou Taihu Lake Cycling Sports Park 苏州环太湖自行车运动公园, the route will run along scenic roads and connect landmarks like Xijing Bay Flower Sea and the Taihu Causeway. The race will feature a cycling market, bringing together renowned brands to showcase their latest products.

Another good news is that Suzhou Taihu Lake Cycling Sports Park is nearing completion and will go into four-month trial operations next month before the official opening scheduled for early next year. As the first comprehensive cycling complex in the Yangtze River Delta, the project will feature a five-kilometer XC mountain bike loop, 3,600-square-meter pump tracks, and a 1,000-square-meter steel-structured BMX bike park.
