A Large International Hospital to Rise Within 5th Ring Road

On April 21, a project kick-off meeting was held for the Beijing United Family International Hospital. The hospital is planned to be located in Dongfeng Township, Chaoyang District, and will be put into operation in 2029 with 600 beds.

After completion, it will not only become an internationalized tertiary comprehensive hospital, but also function as a scientific research base, integrating medical care, teaching and scientific research to transform more scientific research results into cutting-edge therapies. In addition, this hospital within the 5th Ring Road will prioritize the concept of sustainability in its architectural design, incorporating energy-efficient systems and natural healing landscapes, thereby becoming a "medical center in an oasis" where medical space and urban forestry seamlessly converge.
