According to the Shandong General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection, foreign travelers can scan a QR code with any compatible software on their mobile devices before boarding their flight. This allows them to fill out entry-related information online. Alternatively, travelers can visit the China (Shandong) International Trade Single Window platform at [https://sd.singlewindow.cn], select "Foreign Entry Card Reporting(外国人入境卡填报)" under the "Port Management (口岸管理)" section, and follow the instructions. For those who prefer not to use the online platform, terminals at the port of entry can automatically fill in basic information using the document scanning feature. Upon arrival in China, travelers can scan the saved QR code at the "Self-Service Entry Card Terminals" to quickly print their entry cards.
The "Self-Service Entry Card Terminals" support multiple languages, including English, French, Portuguese, Japanese, and Korean. They also offer an "auto-fill" feature for commonly used information, significantly streamlining the process for foreign nationals entering China. This new system aims to enhance entry clearance efficiency, allowing foreign travelers to undergo border inspection swiftly and conveniently.
