Investment Fiji Chairperson Ms. Jenny Seeto Leads Delegation to Visit Nanjing

This year marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Fiji. On May 29th, Ms. Jenny Seeto, Chairperson of Investment Fiji, led an economic and trade delegation to visit Nanjing. Accompanied by Nanjing Foreign Affairs Office, the delegation visited China Jiangsu International Group, Kenwei Technology Co., Ltd., and Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences. They also attended Nanjing-Fiji Economic and Trade Exchange Symposium hosted by Nanjing Committee of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT Nanjing). Delegates expressed their desire to learn from Nanjing's experiences in poverty alleviation and sustainable development, and to strengthen cooperation with Nanjing in agricultural technology, tourism, and the import and export of specialty products. They welcomed Nanjing enterprises to participate in infrastructure projects in Fiji, including airports, sea ports, hotels, and housing development. Dr. Yok Yee Chan, Consul General of the Republic of Fiji in Shanghai, was also on the delegation.
