As part of the Guangdong Museum of Art’s Young Curator Support Program, this exhibition examines how Chinese contemporary artists navigate the tension between global influence and cultural tradition. Featuring works by seven leading artists, it draws on Guy Debord’s theory of the spectacle to reflect on perception, identity, and poetic resistance. Void Traces invites viewers into a space of reflection—where meaning is suspended, illusions are peeled back, and art becomes a quiet gesture toward truth.
